Take Stock in Children (TSiC) is a Miami based Non-Profit Educational Organization that is a member of a national non-profit education program. TSiC was running on very old hardware with a very low uptime percentage and had reached a critical failure point. Venturian was selected through a careful, 3rd party RFP process. A rapid, careful move from their existing systems and in to Venturian’s Cloud was very important and Venturian delivered an optimum design, deployment and migration strategy with limited impact to the enterprise. The condition of the environment required a speedy deployment of a new infrastructure, migration of data and live-contenting of systems over the course of a weekend. Venturian architected a completely new environment utilizing cloud based app delivery. Some key components to this were:

• Financial Edge upgrade and migration

• Seamless turn-key migration of 100% of the systems, Apps, Data, Users and Mail with absolute minimal impact on business operations.
• Rapid 3 day upgrade and migration of all custom business systems and their functions
• Provided a pristine environment to ensure maximum performance and future scalability
• Citrix NetScaler utilized for maximally efficient load balancing and SSL as well as part of the future plans to use Citrix application delivery nationally.
• Decommissioning of old environment
